Doug Martin started painting in 2003 after 30 years as a fine art photographer. A plein air artist, he has studied with Ralph Oberg, Mark Daily and other well known contemporaries. His frequent painting excursions around the country give him the opportunity to express the unique feeling of a place on canvas. He continues to refine his style studying at Art Students League in Denver.
